I am Dr Harriette Packer (MBChB, MRCS, MRCGP, LMCA), a fully qualified GP based in Greater Manchester, with a special interest in Lifestyle Medicine.
I have worked in medicine since qualification in 2012.
After initially starting my journey in General Surgery, I changed my career path to General Practice and I qualified in 2019.
As a doctor in the NHS, I see the consequences of disease every day.
Modern medicine doesn’t lack treatment options, but what it lacks is time – time figuring out how we got there in the first place. It also lacks the support for helping people protect their health.
Lifestyle Medicine bridges that gap.
Seeing patients feel empowered with information and feeling both aware and motivated to change their health, was where my passion was found and continues.
Integrity is central to how I practice. I take my own advice and aim to live the principles that I recommend, so you can trust the guidance that I offer is both evidence-based and lived.
I live the principles I recommend. You can trust the guidance I offer.
Every recommendation is grounded in medical evidence and clinical experience.
Real health comes from consistency, clarity, and honest guidance, not quick fixes.
